Find Your Local ChapterThe National League of Junior Cotillions is a program of etiquette, character education, and social dance training for middle and high school students.
Since 1989, NLJC has been dedicated to instilling essential life skills that build confidence and character in young people across the United States. Our comprehensive program teaches students the importance of respect, courtesy, and consideration in all aspects of life.
With chapters across the country, we provide a structured environment where students can develop social skills, learn proper etiquette, and gain confidence through practical application in social settings.
What students will learn and experience with NLJC
Students learn proper etiquette for various social situations, including dining, introductions, correspondence, and more.
Our program teaches traditional and contemporary social dances in a structured, respectful environment.
Students develop important character traits like respect, courtesy, honor, and confidence that will benefit them throughout life.
Learn proper table manners, formal dining etiquette, and how to navigate multi-course meals with confidence.
Develop effective communication skills, including proper introductions, conversation techniques, and public speaking.
Students participate in formal balls and events where they can practice their skills in real social settings.
